It's that time of year again - The time when we have ourselves a nice old natter about what tracks we've adored in the past 12 months, and then once that's done, have ourselves a vote so that we can decide what track will become our Song of the Year!
Here's how it works. At the end of this post there'll be a list of games that launched in the time period of November 2012 - October 2013, and that we have soundtracks for. Remixes also released in that time period will count, though I'm not going to list the entire list of games that those came from, otherwise it'd take me forever, and I quite frankly don't have that long.
All you need to do is pick your three favourite songs from any of those soundtracks IN ORDER OF PREFERENCE. I can't stress that part enough, mainly as each track will then be given a score. Your top pick will receive three points, your second pick 2, and your third pick gets just the one. At the end of the nomination period, the top 10 songs with the most points will get thrown into a poll, and then you have to pick your favourite from that list. Simple, really.
Voting starts from right now, and will end at 9pm on Saturday 30th November. The top 10 tracks will then be revealed on Saturday Night SEGA that very same evening, with voting on the eventual winner starting the following day, but we'll give you more news on that in a month's time.
So, without further ado, here's the list of games that you can choose from:
Aliens: Colonial Marines
Anarchy Reigns
After Burner Climax (iOS/Android version launched 2013)
Castle of Illusion (2013)
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva-f
Hell Yeah! Pocket Inferno (Same OST as Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit)
House of the Dead: Overkill (Typing of the Dead: Overkill / Overkill: The Lost Reels launched 2013)
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
Sonic Jump
Sonic the Hedgehog (Remastered iOS/Android version launched 2013)
Total War: Rome II
Yakuza 1&2 HD Edition
Yakuza 5
There you go. Voting starts NOW!

If I understood correctly is the remix that had to be released during the last year, not the game the source material is from.TheChaosBlue wrote: I was going to pick Wrapped in Black ~ Gregzilla Mix ...for Exception from the TSSMA12 as my second pick, but the original source came from a game made in 2005.
