Default Weston Super Sonic 2016 logo question

I'm not certain if this is the right area for this question, but it seems to be for me.
In regards to the Weston Super Sonic 2016 logo, I know that both characters are forms of Super Sonic, but what exactly is the Super Sonic on the right supposed to be? I can't figure it out. (The one with the claws and crazy eyes)

It's from the UK comic Sonic the Comic in which Super Sonic was actually an evil form of Sonic. It's no longer being printed but fans are still making new issues here.
