    Anyways, I still think something 2.5 or 3D would make it look rather appealing to me rather than stricty flat 2D visuals.

    2.5D is what I would prefer as well, especially since I would need to locate a spriter for strictly 2D.

    And I've asked around; no one would help me.

    Concept: "Mobius" is still alive. Check out the "new" area!

    Aw that's a shame. I think Sprites would have been amazing. Well hopefully your 3D character models will look stunning too. Do you have any particular fighting game as a role model when making this? Are we talking heavily combo-based or what.

    BlazBlue, Street Fighter, The King of Fighters, Dead or Alive, and Killer Instinct; I'm drawing inspiration from them all.
