Bought Hula Hoops by accident from a vending machine earlier. Horrible things, and they said proudly on the pack "NO MSG". Why is that good? MSG is junk food alchemy, making things like Pot Noodles and vegetarian meat taste almost edible instead of like carpet. TBH these Hula Hoops could have used a dash.

Well not only that but you're you and there's nothing you can do about it. If you would rather not change who you are, then quit complaining and come to peace with it. Everyone else can eat shit..and chances are they only bully you because they know they'll get a reaction out of you.

I wasn't talking about changing myself. I like how I am. The only problem I have with myself is that I am no good in anything else except Sonic. I am practically useless except Sonic. I don't play much sports and I suck and games that usually kids talk about are mostly unfamiliar for me. And than, when I do want to talk about Sonic, everybody starts hating me and teasing me. They even once said I have a Sonic Sex toy...
I don't want to change myself. I just... want to be more useful.

^ First off, it's a good thing that you like yourself for who you are. If one is not comfortable with him or herself, then the insults are more harmful than they actually are ("Sticks and stones..."). Ignore the bullies because they don't know you the way you know you. You know who you want to be and what you want to do, so don't let their ignorance and insults set you off course.

As for the bullies, again, try to ignore them. They feed off of their victim's reactions, not just their victims. They find a trait or weakness in someone that they feel they can pick at and put their victim in a sense of weakness to the bully.

Another thing that you can do on your part is to not focus entirely on Sonic when talking with others. Talk with people, bring up topics that they can relate to, ask questions if you have to, and try to show them that there is more to you than being just a Sonic fan because surely there is.

Honestly, I was bullied back in elementary school. Classmates would call me gay and never really hang out with me. Good thing we never hung out because I never really liked them. As for the remarks, I ignored them (along with a few blow-ups and threats on my part to notify the school guidance counselor or whoever they were about harassment). That was about 8 years ago, and I was lucky to find my best friend during that time. Now, I've still got my best friend, I'm in the top quarter of my class with a high school cumulative GPA of 3.90, and I've found more friends who like me for who I am.

Main words of advice: Ignore the bullies and find people who like you for who you are. Also, there is always a future. No telling if it will be good or bad, but if you want it to be good, then go for it. No one is stopping you from having that future.

Hope that any of this helps. I'm not really the advice type, so this is different for me. As for that sex toy comment they made, that was low, harsh, and immature of them. I'd punch 'em in the teeth if they had said that to me (and I'm a pacifist, btw). Don't go punching people in the teeth, though. Unless they're trying to mug you, but even then, just hambone. I think this whole conclusion just went against what I was trying to state above. Anyways, hambone.

EDIT: On topic, no recent purchases. Most recent purchase is still the Finn hat, which I've never gotten a chance to wear because it's friggin' raining here. Don't wanna get it wet, know what I'm saying? Also, my longest post yet!

I laugh at you because you're all the same."

Good quote I had on a t-shirt once. Seemed to sum up how I felt at the time, so I bought it.

This isn't appropriate to the topic at all, and we'll be popping back on topic after I'm done, but I don't think being different is that bad. I got bullied a lot during my school years for my affiliation to SEGA, whereas kids were warming more to the PlayStation powerhouse at the time. There were other things as well, but that was a part of it. The guy that bullied me the most happened to be a Nintendo fan, as it happens.

I stuck through it, knowing in my head that nobody would be able to change me. Often thought about whether or not I was doing things wrong, and whether or not I should probably change how I am, or what I did in my spare time, but stuck with who I was.

Fast forward from those days (1997-2002) to now. Granted, the bully went to University and possibly got a degree, whereas I kinda fucked college up. However, when it comes to what the bullying was actually about - I've met Crush 40 and Yuji Naka this year. From SoS these past two years I have made a fuckton of friends, and I'm a part of this fantastic community, and will be for several years I'm sure.

But yeah, enough about that - Back on topic, and I recently bought Christmas presents :D
