Nah, SSFIV can be a button masher, even when you're facing a human player, but it still depends mostly on technique.

Unlike MvC2, of course.

right i need a confirmation cause ive ssen it but ive seen things that say otherwise. does deadpool say anime power up shit when he uses xfactor. and for the record deadpool looks to be the funniest character in the whole game LIFE BAR IN YOUR FACE and WHERE YO CURLY MUSTACHE AT lol

Neither MvC2 or SF4 are even close to being button mashers. MvC2 is probably more so though, because of the abuse Cable gets by beginners, but it's still hardly Soul Calibur or Dead or Alive.

That's pretty good. Sometimes they learn how to throw too, then they're really mixing it up.

Heh, if I'm honest that's my counter strategy against every one of those Ken users. Block the inevitable Shoryukens and low kicks then throw 'em across the stage. ^_^
