I agree with COD and angry birds. Everyone seems addicted, but I don't get that. Angry birds is just boring and hardly a puzzle game and COD, I only ever enjoy that when playing with a couple of friends on the odd oppournity. One game, even though it isn't console is Runescape. I know loads of people enjoy it, but I just found it boring and losing all my weapons when I died was a pain in the backside. I lost intrest too easily.
The Final Fantasy series and Shadow of the Colossus. <_<
Final Fantasy, eh... some of them are alright (4, for instance), but in general, I just think it generally lacks, and it has become a giant cashcow for Squeenix to milk from. A buttload of people buy anything just cause it says Final Fantasy on it (especially if it bears the number 7), no matter how crappy it is. ._.
SotC... I mean, okay, it looks pretty, but that's pretty much it. It's just so... boring. The boss puzzles are easy as hell, the controls are clunky like a brick, and the story feels - at least to me - very predictable.
I have only played up until the first boss before I gave up on it and passed the controller to my friend who wanted to show the game to me in the first place. I watched him play and struggle with the awkward controls of the game before beating it. I was not impressed.

I also agree about SotC. It actually made me think something was wrong with my controller. And I died at the first boss and turned the game off.
Another one I have to mention is StarCraft. While I think the game is cool, I can only play it for a little bit before getting tired of it. I hate having to waste a lot of time building an army only to get killed by an opposing army shortly after. I don't know if WarCraft is similiar or not because I have not really played it.

And your point is?Option wrote:A buttload of people buy anything just cause it says Final Fantasy on it (especially if it bears the number 7), no matter how crappy it is. ._.

I'm agree. I think its characters are the worst I've seen in years. They seem rocks that walk around.Kaito-kun wrote:I wouldn't say I hate it, but everyone seems to love Gears of War. I've never been that impressed with it, always seemed very average and it relies heavily on the hype Micosoft pushes it with. Run over there, hide behind that, shoot that, repeat, repeat, repeat. It would help if the characters were interesting or likeable or if the multiplayer was exciting.

While i agree that most of the characters are boring. I have to say Dom's character was probblay the only intersting person in the game. I suppose carmine would be to if they didnt keep killing him.Kaito-kun wrote:I wouldn't say I hate it, but everyone seems to love Gears of War. I enjoyed Gears much more than I thought I would. The gameplay is incredibly solid and the co-op is crazy fun, though the competitive multiplayer is pretty dull. I don't even mind the characters that much, it's bro out the ass but seems pretty self aware, also helps that now whenever I hear John DiMaggio I'm reminded of this:
