Steam is a download service, Onlive is a streaming service.

No it's nothing like Steam. I thought my post explaining it was clearer than it was since I was explaining it on twitter to Gonic, but it turned out it wasn't.

Steam basically downloads the game to your harddrive, you run it using your PC hardware, no real difference to playing a game on a console or a disc, except for it's downloaded and no disc is needed.

OnLive streams the games to you, it's essentially watching a ustream/justin.tv stream of a game being played. Only you're the one playing the game.

I have an OnLive account but i havn't opened it in awhile, main reason is because it lags here in miami, they need to bring some servers closer here. Closest one is in North or South Carolina i think.

Second problem is not enough people are jumping on board yet. Has alot of great community features but still lacks the community. When it starts thriving im sure ill return.

EDIT: Just found out the closest server that i can use is in D.C.and miami is right on the edge but they'll be opening more servers across the US. Hopefully in Florida or Georgia so it doesnt lag as much for me

Yes? Easily. They could shit in a box and it'd be better than GTAIV. Maybe Rockstar North should just give it to Rockstar San Diego since that's where the talent obviously is now.

They took loads of shit out of IV compared to San Andreas. My guess is for V they'll big up the fact you can fly planes and ride bikes and other shit that you could do on GTA's nearly ten years ago.
