I'm afraid the blog RSS feed isn't something I created and know very little about. I will try and speak to foreversonic and see if that can be sorted.Matty wrote:any idea when will the newsfeed be working again?!?!?!

Moved here because it's a different feed that has a problem.
Looking at the XML itself, it looks as if one of ResidentSD's posts has killed it - that or my poor debugging skills / bad coding practice!
Anyway, I'm at work at the moment but will look into it when I get home.
Thanks for pointing it out!!

OK, I spent most of last night looking at it, and some of you may have seen some weird blog posts in the process.
I believe I know what is causing it, but it's locating it and preventing it from happening.
More work is needed.
I'll keep you posted as I go along...
Update: I've updated some of the code. It should provide a temporary workaround until I get to the bottom of this.
Being at work, I don't have access to the blog, so if someone who has reads this before I get home, could they create a dummy post, and then message me, in order to trigger the RSS feed routine. Thanks

Treble posting... It gets worse!!
Anyway, the workaround is working for now which means that the feed is up and running again.
I haven't got to the bottom of the problem, so for the time being, the workaround will have to do. I will find it, though, even if it's the last thing I do
PS: It wasn't ResidentSD's fault. Apologies.
