I don't get it, why do us British get ribbed for drinking tea when doesn't like half the world drink it? And it's not like we're that obsessed with it, we don't have shops dedicated to the stuff that have spread around the world like a virus, like you americans and all your starbucks tings. And I don't even know what the point in those bagels are, they're way to big to dunk in a coffee mug.
Tic Tac, sir?

I'm not going against you guys and gals drinking the stuff, in fact I don't drink tea regularly except when I get sick, or if it's iced tea. In addition, I don't go to Starbucks for I don't drink anything from there. And we dunk bagels in coffee? I wasn't told of that.Killer French Bread wrote:I don't get it, why do us British get ribbed for drinking tea when doesn't like half the world drink it? I have nothing against tea, or people talking about it. That's all fine and dandy. I mean c'mon, it's just tea. But the Brits never cease talking about it. And me (probably Twinny too) just take notice because it's kinda funny is all.
We have a Starbucks but we don't talk about it 24/7. And yes Americans do drink tea. Iced tea, and not from a mug though
And there is indeed a store chain here exclusive to tea. Called Teavana. Really cool place. But even then, nobody talks about it. >> lol I've never heard people talking much about coffee here either. Like tea, it's just coffee.
