Ouch...

Well... I had looked everywhere for a place that would suit what I'm interested in... that being Digital Art. Sadly, all the good places in my place that did those stuff either didn't accept Work Experience students or were full... But I did manage to find a sort of second option.

Not sure if that link works, but I'll be having Work Experience in this place called Sydac Industries. They do shit like Simulating trains... which isn't exactly what I wanted to do... but Train simulators must have SOMETHING to do with Digital Media.... right? ...RIGHT?!

Haha, that's probably the most strange work experience I've heard someone doing. You'll probably only be making tea or showing people around still, but it will be a lot better than working in a shop no doubt (and my sister's stint in the endoscopy surgery).

One of my friends works in digital media btw. He uses sowftware to show what buildings would look like for architects and potential investors and that. So a company about to start a project will come to him with the blue print on paper and he'll map it out on a computer and turn it into a video where the camera will swoop around the new Mega Mall or whatevers been planned. It sounds like a fun job, just a shame he has to live in Liverpool for it. he did media production at uni as well, which I always laughed at saying it was a 'doss subject'.
Tic Tac, sir?

That sounds like an interesting job and I think that's what this company I'm going to does. However, it's not exactly what I want to do in the future which is concept art and animation, but it's a good enough Second choice I guess... I was desperate anyway.

I was thinking of doing Media I must say. Media and Computer Science... those two I want to do in Uni.
