Now I'm thinking of that Dr. Who episode all over again.

"Sheriff Sonic, the fastest shooter in the wild west." Yep
.
Though I am also thinking of Gladiators for some reason lol.
oooor...
Sonic The Hedgehog:
Modern Warfare
Then again, that's not exactly a story book. Maybe World War II?

Well, on a serious note I can't actually think of something that would translate into the next game.

Mmhm...
Anyway, it fits in perfectly since its an ancient tale from a different region as the last 2 and different enough from the other 2. And it's a reasonably well known story.

Then again, I can't really think of a really well known Wild West story. ...Unless you count Lucky Luke or something.
If there is going to be another Sonic Story Book Title, it'll obviously be from a... story book. Since I can't think of any Cowboy stories, I'm taking dibs on Hercules XP

Greek Mythology would also be a good one yea, though I probably wouldn't go for Hercules. Odyssey would be a good one.
I'd definitely rather Journey to the West though, Chinese aesthetic could be quite nice. Maybe Romance of the Three Kingdoms? Since Sonic has just as much characters nowadays.
