That Sonic 1 Remastered game is basically what ROM hackers did about a decade ago.

It could be Sonic 1 port #241 but I'm more interested in two things:

1. It's "remastered soundtrack" and
2. The port may be handled by the same person who handled the Sonic CD port just recently, Christan Whitehead.

Namco just announced Digimon Re:Digitize Decode for 3DS. No word of a Europe or USA release though :(

Yeah. You lucky bastards in the US got Digimon World Ds, Dusk, Dawn and most recently World Championship

Im hoping Digimon Fusion will pick interest back up in the series so we can get the games over here again :(

Digimon died in the west when Bamco moved onto making games on the PSP.

I think re:digitise was announced like, a month ago? I remember because I asked if it was the one that had Lili from Tekken (it wasn't)

There's no "may" about it - he's already pretty much confirmed that he's done it. He also said that he believes the Sonic 1 upgrade is going to be patched into the current iOS release.

Sonic 1 HD, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, DuckTales Remastered...

On the Sonic game thing, yeah it's Taxman's Engine being used.
