Fixed.

Maybe I'll edit this post into a manga of the week if I can figure out what series to do.

Finished Molester Man and... wow. That was better than I expected. I thought OMK was just a once in a lifetime good manga but seems the artist knowns his... or her shit. He/she did a really good job on this one too and I just can't help smiling. Had a great ending. Awesome.

Manga of the Week

BERSERK
Image

Author/Artist: Miura Kentaro
Status: Ongoing (37 Volumes)
Updates: Whenever lol
Licensed: Yes (36 Volumes)
Guts, known as the Black Swordsman, seeks sanctuary from the demonic forces attracted to him and his woman because of a demonic mark on their necks, and also vengeance against the man who branded him as an unholy sacrifice. Aided only by his titanic strength gained from a harsh childhood lived with mercenaries, a gigantic sword, and an iron prosthetic left hand, Guts must struggle against his bleak destiny, all the while fighting with a rage that might strip him of his humanity.

Won the 6th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Award for Excellence.
I think it only natural to do this one when the reason I didn't bother to do one during the weekend was because I was playing Dragon's Dogma. Berserk is one of the best, if not the best, dark fantasy series put to print. I'm not fully caught up but I do hear bad things about the more recent stuff. Mostly Miura's love of Idolm@ster seeping into his series.

It's also probably the biggest inspiration for some of the best games released this gen; Demon's/Dark Souls which is full of references and Dragon's Dogma which has crossover Berserk weapons and armour.

So, Rekky, what happened to your "Manga of the Week" plan?

Good question. I haven't really been reading much manga outside of the big 3 and shokugeki so I haven't really had any good ideas for what to do.

edit: actually I've had an idea, might make it a bit more frequent since I have done one in a while ufufufu
