I kinda feel ya there KFB. I mean sure I'm 19 and I'm trying to act my age going on 20 but the whole "want to be a teen" feels still lingers around me.

20 was my worst birthday by far, felt so old as if I was well into my 30s. Like I was kissing good bye to a beautiful teenage era I was always looking forward to and expecting but never arrived. Then in my early twenties I felt much younger again, like when I was 22 I felt I was actually nearer just 20. Then when I got to about 26 it crept up again and I possibly felt my age. Now I'm starting to feel older again.

But I'm just going to hold fast to my credo: between the ages of 18 and 50 you're a man. Don't matter about the number.

Yep. Announced on the lastest SNS (at the time of this post) he is stepping down. Foreversonic is now the one in charge.

It's all here in this handy blog post.

So now there's an Honorable Member tag; and he's the first to grace it. Or is that just for him? I'm just curious.

Surely it's for people who made great contributions to the site and community.

I'm on the news team?! Neat. I mean, I knew I had access, but I didn't realise I was officially on there.

Massive nerd-fest going down in my neck o the woods: http://www.alcon.org.uk/index.php
Obviously I've now learnt of these things due to the constant supply of them being advertised on here, but never imagined one would crop up this close to home. I also knew what shmup they were playing in the two seconds of blurry footage they showed of it (layer section). Is this kind of event the new thing in british life then, like when schools suddenly all had proms at the end of the term about 6 years ago?

I wouldn't mind going to these things for the games, but the idea of people walking around with massive pink spikey hair loud and proud without even the slightest threat of a vicious beating just does't sit well with my up-brining. You should at least expect an egging for that kind of carry on in my book.

edit: didn;t mean to condone violence on people in fancy dress with that last comment btw! I just find it weird you can get away with it now when you'd get battered for wearing pokemon t-shirt when I was a kid. I've had half a bottle of black label I'm babbling on.
