Well it's settled isn't it? Your UMD doesn't work because the plastic is loose.

If the plastic goes in, your UMD is f***ed to put it bluntly, ive had this problem and the only way i fixed it was by actually removing the plastic off the front of it. But thats up to you if you wanna do that.

You can buy replacment UMD case online. Thats your best bet.

It's too bad that they have stuck something on the CD so you can't put it on the PC to use it for other uses.

That metal disc pops out, but once it does its a nightmare to get it to stay in
and it wouldn't work in a pc, its like putting a PS3 game in a Ps2, just wont work
