I was going to vote No but forgot and now can't be arsed.
Nothing to do with the propaganda that the AV money could be spent on 50,000 hip transplants (they actually put that on a leaflet I had), or BNP stuff, but because I'd rather have a system that is more likely to produce a decisive result. This coaliton has put me off encouraging more of them.
IMPORTANT! UK peoples read this.
:3 so SNP won the Scottish elections by a huge margin.
That's really great stuff to hear, obviously when they got in last time they only just scraped through. Having now proved themselves more than capable of running the country it's great to see their percentages rise

Bah! Scottish independence is still a ridiculous fantasy.Rayne wrote::3 so SNP won the Scottish elections by a huge margin.

And Alex Salmond is still a smug, slappable git.
Well I never! An Englishman that's not keen on the idea of Scottish IndependenceKaito-kun wrote:Bah! Scottish independence is still a ridiculous fantasy.

Edit: Out of interest Kaito, who did you vote for?

That's a pretty lame way to voteKaito-kun wrote:I went with the tactic of "Who would have the best chance in against the SNP in our area?" as a result I went for Labour. It worked.

Still, looks like they'll be in with a majority government now :3
The difference between both parties? The SNP believes Scotland should be independent, that the shit that belongs to our country should stay in our country and that we'd do much better alone than we do tethered to england. On top of that however, they're a very capable political party, they've been in power for 4 years and had hardly any scandals or anything, they just get the job done

BNP are just nazis.

I want to see these figures of the SNP's that show how whiskey and Tunnock's wafers are going to pay for a welfare state, the NHS, free university, free prescriptions and whatever else Salmond is currently spending British tax recepits on.
Saying that I couldn't care less wether Scotland goes or not, in fact I'd like a referendum across the whole of the UK: we should be asked if we want you to stay or not. As long as you pay your share for the banking crisis caused in a large part by your banks (HBOS, BoS), it's good ridance really.

Tic Tac, sir?
