I'm a bit cautious about this game. Resident evil 5 was the best selling Resident evil game and Capcom are greedy fuckers at the best of times so it wouldn't surprise me if this was just 5 with bells and whistles. I enjoyed 5 enough though so I'll keep an eye on this one. Revelations seems to cater more to the old school fans if you still want that sort of thing.
EDIT: Looking at it Leon and Chris seem to be in two seperate places. Maybe there trying to give some middle ground? Chris's sections could be all out action and Leon's are more horror/creepy. I think i'd quite like it if they had more than one scenario like in Resi 2.

Pretty sure that's the case.
Leon is Resident Evil
Chris is Dudebros of War
The bald guy may also be a separate scenario, which is running away.
There's also the rumoured Ava scenario which could be interesting if all 4 are going to play differently.
With Revelations around the corner I'm not sure whether I should just be happy that Capcom can still make a Resident Evil. Or if I should be sad that they're relegated to handheld devices while the numbered series becomes even less recognizable.

Don't think we can possibly base a lot of opinion on the trailer when it comes to gameplay. Although, being set before Resi 5 would be a little odd. Would imagine it's a sequel in the traditional sense.
That said...I'm looking forward to it. I am a rather large Resi fan though, so I reckon my opinion might be a tad biased

I don't see why not, as the trailer show as surprising amount of gameplay for a reveal trailer. The only one that seems pure speculation is Baldy McBalderton.Gavvie wrote:Don't think we can possibly base a lot of opinion on the trailer when it comes to gameplay.
Obviously it's so they can still manage to shoehorn Wesker into the game. That or it was an error.mtwinny wrote:So R.E. 6 is set before R.E. 5? I don't get it....
Uh yes, as I've already said Chris and Jill have been in the BSAA a long time before 5 (See: Revelation).
Also what? Chris looks almost identical to how he does in 5. Only without the ridiculous watermelon arms.
Anyway some random speculation people have been throwing around about baldy and his scenario.
His gameplay is going to focus on running from the ugly mutant thing (likely)
The ugly mutant thing is Steve (unlikely)
Baldy is one of the Wesker brothers talked about in Lost in Nightmares (extremely likely)
