Hey guys and gals guess what I got?

Right now the game isn't that bad so far, that Metal Sonic rival battle was quite challenging though, I admit. I failed like what four times? Stupid me ^^'

Anyway, TheChaosBlue is replaying past levels now (I'm up to Emerald Coast btw), but is tempted not using the homing attack for Classic Sonic's variations of said levels.

But for right now, I'm not disapointed at all with the gameplay! ^^

Physical release came out this week along with the 3DS version, I believe. Can't see it making a huge difference to overall game sales, mind you.

I've got Sonic Generations on PS3 and while it's not perfect, it's still a lot of fun. Well, fat Sonic is fun to use. That 'modern' Sonic is just... ugh! He's hard to control for a start. Even Sonic and the Secret Rings was easier to play than this!

The stages are mediocre at best. While it's great to see Green Hill zone and Chemical Plant zone in 3D, the other stages just fail misreably. I never played a Dreamcast and I never played Sonic '06, Unleashed and Colours, so the last few stages are unknown to me.

Oh and there's a DLC of Casino Night zone. It's a pinball table. I was really disapointed, since Casino Night was my favourite zone in Sonic 2 and I got stuck with a lame pinball table! The 3DS version has an actual stage of it, according to Wikipedia.

I can't seem to find another thread with the same topic, so here goes.

As the title explains, what other level's design and music would you have liked redone? I thought something like a harder version of route 99 and I would love Stardust Speedway. What would you think could have been a nice addition?

Hmm..interesting topic...

Well, I would want for Modern Sonic's BOOST controls to not be as easy to fill. Have it fill up a lot less when you defeat enemies and what not.

As for music; I don't think there's..oh wait, I would have Hydrocity Zone Act 2 in place of Act 1...yeah.

I would like Route 99 as an additional level, but I feel it is better siuted to the 3DS version...which let's face it, ain't getting anything new for the forseeable future.

DLC such as Egg Fleet or Starlight Carnival would be nice too...

Also, make the bosses a bit tougher? Hard mode adise, four hits is really cheap to me personaly when you're up against a gigantic robot crafted after an fat scientist and sadisitic and powerful beast called the god of destruction/chaos in a liquid state...

That's all from me for now. :)

...What about Sky Sanctuary? ;_;

It seems that the BOOST mechanics are relatively new to you...and it's okay that you didn't play 2006....better if you don't...

And yes, Casino Night is in the 3DS version...but that doesn't make that version any better.

Play Sonic Colours or Sonic Unleashed and you will be thankful Modern sonic controls the way he does in Generations.

Which one was that in again? Sonic 3 or Sonic & Knuckles? 'Cause I never really played either, back when I had that Mega Drive collection for 360. =/

Well, I don't have a Wii or DS, so I can't play Colours, but I do have a PS3, so I could try out Unleashed.
