I haven't even started playing it yet!

I've got it and it's sitting right there in my Sonic Collection shelf but I yet have not started playing it. It requires a higher version and My PS3 will need an update but if I do that, I'll lose the hack.

Honestly, it doesn't matter and I will do it as soon as possible but right now, I also bought Sonic 06 and since that one doesn't require a new version, I'm playing that game first.

Why did you hack it in the first place?

Meh, ps3 games are rather expensive. I bought mine from Iran which was pretty much hacked anyway. And I couldn't get past the chance to have 10 free games already installed in my console. But I'll stop with this discussion right here by saying I am losing the hack to make you all anti-hackers happy.

For some reason I feel a smug sense of satisfaction...

Hacked PS3s are pointless really, since the homebrew community is dead. If you want to be a parasite better off having a 360.

Heh can say that again

I've considered upgrading myself as the scene is totally dead, the only way forward is if a certain French bugger gets off his high horse & gives the scene what it needs

The scene is dead as unlike the 360 the devs will actually go & do something & share their work, i think the only useful homebrew thats updated is Showtime... and even that is poorly ported for the Ps3 as it struggles with MKV files & a few others

Oh and the rest of the Homebrew released... honestly.... its shit, just rehash after rehash of old homebrew, someone released a nice SDK with 3d Modeling etc and no bugger touched it

On topic... Wonder if there will be any DLC for this as the Trophies hints at this with the game itself being in a sub category as opposed to a full list on its own (hope that makes sense)

They did with unleashed and Sonic'06 -shudder- dont see why not with Generations.

Edit: Also about the 3DS version of generations...The first 3 levels are enjoyable untill it hits emrealds coast. Which is horribly designed. I normally don't complain about cheap deaths as Sonic games are normally full of them. But OMG Emerald Coast with both sonics is a nightmare. I thought Crisis City was bad in console, but this level beats it hands down.

You know what my favourite part of Generations is? The sound effects.

I didn't think much of them the first time around, but since I've had to start a new save on it, I've noticed things that I didn't notice before. I love how fat Sonic makes the exact same noise when he jumps in Generations that he did in the original Sonic the Hedgehog, back in '91. Nostalgia, much?

I've also gotten a lot better at using modern Sonic now, thanks to Unleashed.

Pinch of salt. Yahtzee has never liked Sonic games from what I've heard, so he's probably taken the opportunity to rip it to shreds because he can.

Still, it's amusing, as are most of his videos.
