I reckon I'll be offline for about a week, starting tommorow.

We have to get settled into our new place and mum doesn't want me online all the time.

On top that, I think she's sick of me doing nothing with my life...

Aren't all moms?

I mean honestly... Even though I get pretty good grades at school, play guitar pretty well and other stuff, my parents still complain about me, wasting my free time on video games.

...I know there is a persuasive reason to "Why people should spend their free time playing Video games". I just can't find it...

I don't do anything but play video games and use the internet.

...I really need to get out more.

It's all about what you enjoy doing. If you're happy with what you do, I think that nobody should try to stand in the way of that. Of course that doesn't mean you shouldn't broaden your horizons and find more than one hobby either though. People who do nothing but play video games very well may need to get out more and find another hobby but it doesn't necessarily mean you should stop playing them either.

It goes along the lines of:

-Imrpoves dexterity
-Improves natural reflexs
-Stimulates both sides of the brain

This. And I believe this been proven in some context. Can't be arsed to find though, someone might.

It also can be a form of stress relief depending on the person. Long as you're not a rage quitter on COD or something. xD

That's my problem; all I do is play video games.

I'm hoping that getting a job will change things though.

I'm kinda getting tired of sitting around doing nothing all day...

That was such a boring game that after half time I started working some kinks out of a SUPER SECRET PROJECT* instead.

*Not actually all that secret.
