So Sonic Boom failed to place in the Top 40 in the UK. I'm disappointed with how badly the game was in its final state. Esspically since naughty dog people worked on it. :/
Ex-Naughty Dog people, it seems that maybe there was a reason for that! lol

edit: beaten! loool

Boy I can't wait to see the U.S. sales for these two games.

Possibly.

The reality is that the game was rushed for a Christmas release. SEGA obviously didn't learn from Sonic'06 when the same damn thing happened. I honestly hope this kill's the Sonic Boom IP, maybe SEGA will learn a lesson this way.

I'd say not another console release. Keep it handheld exclusive as well as keep on with the cartoon.

Why even have a game at all, even if the cartoon is good? It's in that weird place Street Fighter was once where despite being a decent game series it still got a typically shitty licensed game for the movie.

If Sonic Boom ever exists as a thing a year from now it's clear the cartoon and merch should be at the forefront. Forget a game. Hell; every other country besides from France is getting the cartoon next year.

People will just stream it. Which could possibly affect how well the cartoon does in the UK.

I heard Cartoon Network in the UK doesn't give a damn when it comes to premiering shows there, CN original series or not. Is this true?

And as for the games bit, at least keep Sanzaru Games on board for whatever new title happens, Sonic or not.

Yeah, the 3DS one isn't that bad to be honest, it's got some good ideas in there.

Still, the Wii U one is a funny old beast. In the UK you're asking people to buy a game based on a TV show that's a year away at least. Even if it was a great game, that's a hard sell.

What I played of the Demo I didn't like. Felt like a poor mans version of Metroid.

Its was better than Generations 3DS though :P
