This. The PSPGo was just too little too late (and a bit of a silly idea in the first place) but you can't really say Sony didn't support the PSP, especially not in the early days. Third part devs just left it for the DS which was cheaper to develop for and had a larger user install base.Reknoc wrote:It's less about how Sony support it and more how other developers support it. In that case you should know when the narwhal bacons.MrEthernex wrote:I'm back, too. I've been over at Reddit this whole time...
Actually its the opposite, a lot of smaller Japanese devs thrived on the PSP and even some bigger ones like SEGA, Konami and S-E. Sony jumped ship on the PSP pretty early. Which is why I'm saying it's more important how the third parties treat it and not Sony.Kaito-kun wrote:This. Really? For some reason I had assumed that the DS had lower production costs, silly me.Reknoc wrote:Actually its the opposite, a lot of smaller Japanese devs thrived on the PSP and even some bigger ones like SEGA, Konami and S-E. When a few more titles arise I'll look more into it I think.Kaito-kun wrote:I did one for Wrath Oskvro over in the Gaming Purchases thread.
