I've always been under the impression that Americans care more about St. Patrick's Day than the Irish. Partially because of regions like Boston where everyone pretends to be part Irish and wants to grasp onto something that they can relate these roots to and partly because it's an excuse for many of them to get sozzled.

Not just in Boston dude. It's here in NYC as well..... XD Just another day for excessive drinking to some unfortunately.
