How Romantic... in a gamery way.Kaito-kun wrote:Going to have some every so romantic Street Fighter bouts with one another? Explore the skies of Wuhu island? Or maybe adopt a puppy, feed it, card for it and take it for walkies together? That's lovely.
Until you load up Animal Crossing 3DS one day and found she's redecorated your kick-ass room full of rare goodies in the house you share without consulting you, slowly you grow to resent her for that. You "Accidentally" save over one of her designs in the Able Sisters shop, she runs over your flower patch...Slowly and slowly the tension builds until it comes to a make or break climax! *Gasp*
I've got the makings of a novel there, me thinks...

Still trying to convince myself to get one on launch. I have a nice bonus from work at the end of the month but there's still not a single game worth dropping the asking price for

Then save the money for the console until a game you do want comes out. Zelda has a tentative late April release.Rayne wrote:Still trying to convince myself to get one on launch. So Scamco isn't just doing a straight up port of those kinda bad One Piece games on the Wii, other than the obvious being two episodes on one cart they're also improving the controls and interface (obvious fixes) and adding characters from Amazon Lily to Marineford (Hancock <3, Ivankov, Marco) also a Marineford based action section which sounds pretty awesome since it won't have all the fucking awful item grinding from the main game. Hell hopefully they'll lower the requirements and make items easier to get in the main game.

I won't be able to enjoy it though as it'll no doubt be full of spoiler events and peoples.
I would say you wouldn't be able to anyway because of Nintendo's fucking stupid region locking, but then I remembered Scamco are releasing One Piece games over here. Instead I'll say you won't be able to because it's a really bad game.Kaito-kun wrote:Cool.

But yea it definitely has spoilers, hell even the trailer/tv spot (I think) has a fucking massive spoiler that's even worse than...

I wasn't actually that interested in the 3DS until Nintendo turned up on my Uni campus with a few pods showing off Street Fighter, Nintendogs and Pilotwings. I had a goot old natter with them and got to try it for myself and I was really impressed with it. The graphics were fantastic, much better than the DS, almost Wii standard really and the range of options which was available straight from the dashboard was great too, something which I hadn't seen before on a DS as I've only ever played on a DS Lite. These features really sold it to me before I even looked at the 3D.
The 3D was really good though, although some games did it better than others. I still wasn't really planning on getting one though, despite how impressed I was. But then a week before launch I started to get infected by the hype and I figured I deserved one as a graduation present
Sooo last night I popped down to my local independent game shop and picked up a Aqua Blue with Ridge Racer. I probably won't buy any more games until Ocarina of Time shows up, but it's nice to actually buy a console on launch day for change, even if buying it now destroys all the logic in my brain. It's SHINY!!
