That and the damn chao collecting. Such a tedious chore....
But I had the game, so what am I talking about regarding team mechanics? .....No wait, most of the time it wasn't needed. I only like changing the chao to that of the player character.

The Advance games IMO are definitely worth a look. Infact, they're my absolute favorite Sonic games.

Sonic Advance 2 was good: I sunk a lot of time into the Tiny Chao Garden.Wrath Oskvro wrote:The Advance games IMO are definitely worth a look. Infact, they're my absolute favorite Sonic games.

Sonic Advance 3 was mediocre; the only thing that saved it was that remix of the Green Hill Zone theme from Sonic 1.
I can't comment about Sonic Advance 1 though as I haven't played it.
Advance 1.....don't see why many like it. It's mechanics are 'close' for lack of a better term, of the classics, but it felt so slow-paced that most of the game was boring.
Advanced 2 was alright, more speed-oriented.
Going back within my memories, buying and playing Adance 3 was great. Actually enjoyed playing and beating the game, even though the method of getting to the Special Stages was tedius. The level tropes were nice too.
Going back to episode 2 talk, hear the fan-names of the levels? Aquatic Garden? Christmas Carnival/Island? Those sound cool.
