If you don't want the the DLC then don't buy them. If you think the price is for the DLC too much then don't buy them. Simple.
There will be people out there who think the DLC is decent value and will buy it.

I'll probably buy them at some point, but 400 MSP per character is a bit of a ripoff. 400 for the pair would've been more reasonable.

im gonna say this straight up. jill is not worth 400 points, she is shocking, her hyper combo sucks. but shuma is surprisingly better

I've got this coming tomorrow from Lovefilm. Looking forward to it. Don't know why though but for some reason I put the 360 version on my rental list rather than the PS3 one. Fucking hate the 360 pad for fighters. If this seems good though i'll pick up the ultimate version in November.

I will give them this though; I thought the use of Ultimate in the title was pretty clever.

I hadn't noticed that until you pointed it out. Fits in nicely with the whole Ultimate Marvel thing.
