So this is less today and more over the last few days.
For over a week I had a chesty cough, and just assumed it'd pass. On Tuesday night I had horrible back spasms and hadn't been able to sleep. I was just taking painkillers. Just thought it was a chest infection. Eventually went to see my doctor on Friday afternoon who immediately referred me to the hospital. I had a shortness of breath, my temperature was high and my heart rate and blood pressure were at worrying levels. Had a blood test done, had a chest x-ray and was put on Amoxillin antibiotic drips overnight and a fluid drip and got to experience hospital for the night.
Yesterday morning the chest specialist tells me I have a chest infection with mild pneumonia as I have a fluid build up on my left lung. This has caused an irritation on the lining of my rib wall and the exterior of my lung, so that's what causes the spasms. Thankfully due to my age and lifestyle, I was sent home at 3pm yesterday, but I have to take eight antibiotics a day for the next week along with 8 paracetamol per day to reduce my temperature and to help with the pain in my ribs.
Got to get a follow up chest x-ray done in six weeks and they'll see if the fluid has cleared and the pneumonia has passed. Fun!
Due to being ill I've not been able to go to the MCM Expo today, but a friend of mine had Troy Baker and Roger Craig Smith record video messages wishing me well :D

I... could say so much right now but won't.Kaito-kun wrote:Obtained a soundbar recently. Had been having a bit of bother connecting it to devices. Long story short; optical cables have a little plastic cap on the top which you need to remove before jamming them into devices.
Are they worth the money though? So expensive.
