Riku in Kingdom Hearts.
I remember spending about 4 days on him, stupid c..
There was also a boss on FFX that took me about three weeks to beat on the first playthrough. Every subsequent playthrough - first time. In fact, I could probably get up to that bit again and beat him first time, despite not touching FFX for years.

well, NOW I'm assuming its that easy, however it says WAS in this topic's first post. so since I played this game when it came out, he WAS hard to beat since we didn't all have internet to look stuff up & walkthroughs back then weren't as good & widely spread as they are today, so it was basically trial & errorMatty wrote:True Dat
why? Ruby can beaten with 1 party member, your eyes closed, tv turned off and you in another room
Counter+ W-Summon

I take it you mean the fight where he has his own Keyblade? God, I hated that boss. Even more so considering the fact that you had to watch that long cutscene before the fight, even if you died... After my umpteenth try I was like, JUST GET ON WITH IT FOR F**** SAKE!!!! Horrible.
I remember the first boss in Ninja Gaiden (the Xbox one) being bloody hard to beat first time around. Afterwards though, I came up with a good strategy to take him down with little effort, although it did need a little patience....
