Crazy idea, but what do you think of a Sonic the hedgehog first person shooting game?

Strictly SEGA related discussion.

I'm just glad you weren't forced to use a gun the whole time when you played as Shadow. Silver needs it though since he's so darn slow.

Just to add something else to this thread, how about a first person Sonic platformer in the style of Mirrors Edge? Okay, it would be ridiculously difficult to control and completely screw with your mind, but at the same time it would be pretty awesome to get a feel for just how fast Sonic can move.. It'll be like Sonic R, only worse! :P

Yeah but the mach speed stages didn't exactly give you much control, other than move left, right and jump, and even then the bad level design meant you died half the time :P

I've played it. The Crisis City mach speed section made me get a game over the first time I tried it. And I had six lives!

^ LoL, yeah, that's the part with the goddamn fire tornado right? Every time the camera turned around and I was sent flying out of bounds to my death!

You know, I don't actually do too badly at that bit...I die a couple of times, but generally don't make the same mistake twice.
