Cheers guys - i did get the message, ad yes it really is my b-day (I am sadly that old).
I did party hard, and subsequently get hammered, but it was at the weekend. Tonight was a less eventful wend towards the local pub. Did an 8 till 8 'shift' when I went out at the weekend - some of my mates had to get up early, so came out from 8pm till about 1, then my mates that work in the evenings came out, and were ready to go till 8am. I was a shadow of a man by the end of it.
Did get to see a comedy mugging tough. A scouser coming out of a club drunk as a skunk was singing football songs to himself, and when he bumped into this worse for wear middle aged woman he grabbed her drink and started glugging out of it for a joke. The woman started hitting him over the head with her handbag to get it back and eventually threw it at his head. It hit the shop behind him and smashed everywhere. The drunkard, still singing his football songs, without missing a beat picked up the bag and its contents and staggered off parading his newly acquired swag like a trophy he'd just won. Even the woman trying to bottle him with the drink she'd got back didn't deter him, he somehow dodged the blows and made his escape with the bag. I've never witnessed a comedy mugging before so I just thought I'd share that with you.
