Haven't been keeping track of the nominations tho.

Here in the UK we're more interested in the BAFTA Film Awards tonight.

Isn't Takeshi's Castle and MXC. Most Extreme Elimination Challenge the same show just with different commentators?

Yes; MXC is basically a silly, (some what witty), and comical redubbing of the former. While the original was treated as a actual game show competition, the latter is just played off for laughs. The real focus is on the cast in MXC.

Well I was getting of Craig Charles. He has lost all his humour now in his dubbing of it.

I thought Craig Charles did a good job of commentating the UK dub/version. Who else would you have chosen instead?

Don't get me wrong, I liked him at first. Though after so long... I've just lost interest in his dub I guess.
I guess it's because I only recently discovered MXC so it gives a new vibe to it.

Has anyone seen the original version of the show? To me it looks like a lot of the show is edited out for dubbing purposes.

I've seen a couple of clips on youtube, and it is edited. The original version features comedy skits featuring the characters as well as the game. A full unedited episode lasts about an hour.
