Sonic 2 HD
i am a huge fan of the sonic series on the megadrive, but when i got my hands on the HD remake... Big round of applause. This game is great, yes its still in alpha phase but why dont sega take a good hard look and employ this team to redo sonic 1-3 and knuckles, i know a lot of people would buy it.. i would.
This could be the start of their saving grace and get back to their form, a fan took their chances and did streets of rage remix and that was amazing

Visually speaking, Sonic Fan Remix was amazing. I loved the moving Eggman robot on the background and it was just... incredible. That's only visually speaking. Gameplay speaking, I found it a bit annoying because of all the cheap enemy placements. As ChaosBlue stated, things often seem to blend in. I can't see an enemy until I actually hit it and lose all my rings.Matty wrote:Inb4 Sega see how popular this is & threaten to sue them like the SOR one
What ever happened to that other Sonic remake that looked and played pretty good

If it took them 7 years to make a VN I'd say it didn't go all that well at all.Matty wrote:Katawa Shoujo?
That took nearly 7 years? and that went pretty well (a bunch of 4chan users, if they can co-operate surely anyone can)
Honestly, working on a project with a group of strangers through the internet is just not that good an idea. Hell, look at Black Mesa, though that does have other reasons why it's dragging on (they wanted to get picked up by Valve and didn't).
