Australia have always been pretty strict with mature games.

Biggest sonic fan wrote: Seems the New Mortal Kombat game is going to be banned in Australia because of it's high levels of violence. If you ask me, I say BULL SHIT! I mean how violent could a game get to ban it and if so, why didn't' they ban the other MK games?
Than again, I don't know why I'm making a big fuss about it because I'm not a MK fan anyway. I just like the main theme, that's all.
And finally were getting some R rated games (18+) in Australia with Duke Nukem being the first I think.
How violent can a Mortal Kombat game be? Really?

^Oops, scratch that question. Now that I looked at some of the fatalities, I understand why...

The fatalities are nice, but I still prefer the X-rays moves. They are gore and awesome!
Go ahead, make my day.

So you wouldn't be able to buy the game from eBay?

Interesting news, that. I'd like to hear why they've done it, because it did look pretty good.
That said, these days it seems the "exclusive" is dying in favour of the mass market. Shame really.

Same here, Gun Loco was on my "I think I had best keep an eye on that one" list.

Sadly yes. The hardware makers might as well give up all pretence and just work together on a new system.

Not too sure that'd work out, the logistics of who'd get what from the sale of said system would end up being far too complicated.
I think exclusive games now are going to be 1st party games, with a few 3rd party franchises dotted about.
