I can tell you exactly where they're going with Megaman now. Nowhere. The franchise is dead. Inafune was the one pushing it and now he's not at Capcom anymore.

Megaman universe looked awful anyway so that getting cancelled was no big deal (what they showed of Legend 3 wasn't that hot either).

I never cared about Universe because I didn´t like the concept. Legends 3 was decent so far, it was matter of time of how the game would have been complete. The prototype was made for a reason, it was going to be released for a reason as well.

Actually Legends 3 was never even greenlit for development. There wasn't really anything to cancel because it more or less didn't exist yet. The prototype literally was a prototype, not an alpha or a beta.

its a real shame this got canned, from what I've seen of the early screenshots it looked pretty cool. I bet all those fans who took part to help give suggestions are pissed. I know I would be.

This would never have happened had the polka dot girl won the character competition.

Oh well, I thought after Megaman Legends 3, there could have been a minimal possibility for X9. Silly me. =P

Now that would have killed the franchise off.

Oh hey this only took for-fucking-ever, good thing the scandanavian version was rare as shit so most people couldn't import it.

^ Heh, I´ve read about that issue. (Not releasing officially the game until the broadcast of the anime.)

I still don´t know if to get it (there´s the spanish ver.). Altough I don´t play sports games, I´m interested in this one, since it mix RPG elements. Thing is, of the few videos I watched, the gameplay hasn´t captivated me yet.
