I Just gave the press release a proper read. XBLA is mentioned so I assume it will be on that as GoD is another service.

I know one version of VF5 is already out, but that was yonks ago so I was hoping this would be a proper disc release and not some cheap, stripped down XBLA waste of time like that Sega Rally shit they released recently was.

The way I read it, it sounds like the original game but with shit added on. That's why I thought it might be a games on demand game. I've re read it though and it does seem to be an XBLA title. I imagine it'll be a big download.

Worst case/most likely scenario: all you get is some rubbish arcade mode + a versus online mode and you have to pay for all the extras as DLC.

Nah, I don't have a Mega Drive or Mega CD.

You can get it for the PS2 if you don't mind that they changed the music.

Ah, I'd forgotten about the Sonic Gems Collection. So it's the US version music? I hope the XBLA release has both sets of music...

Sonic CD isn't bad. I found the special stages hard to play and the past, present, future thing confused me and I had no idea what the true ending was (hense why it's one of the only Sonic games that I have not finished.).
What I wished they would bring to the virtual console is SegaSonic the hedgehog. Really want to try that game. It was meant to be on Sonic Gems but they scrapped it because the arcade had a ball that you had to roll.

Japanese audio from what I hear. Both would have been better but y'know SEGA.
