The original "Fullmetal Alchemist" anime veers off into a completely different plot about halfway through. "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" on the other hand is a reboot that follows the plot of the manga very closely.huntergemini wrote:I read a bit of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga online a few years ago and really enjoyed it. How different is the anime to the manga though?
Sailor Moon... need to get around to actually watching it properly
All i know is that it has panty shots a plenty (trollolol) and remember it being on CITV years ago alongside Digimon iirc
As for another magical girl anime... Moetan, its a bit young for my liking but Arks more than makes up for it :D

Naruto is lame. I have a pretty good list already made for amazing must check out series:huntergemini wrote:I watched Naruto a few times, but I just couldn't get into it.
I'm not really that into ninjas anyway. That and the English voice acting put me off.
Cowboy Bebop
Berserk
Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex
Fullmetal Alchemist
Gurren Lagann
Mushi-Shi
Code Geass
Samurai Champloo
If you're feeling brave I'd also recommend One Piece and Gintama. Gintama is available on crunchyroll to so you can watch it for the low low price of $0
