The Trailer sure is cool but I doubt I'll buy it, the fact that the roster will blow is off putting.
I'll bet the Tekken side doesn't feature Alisa, Leo, Asuka or Lili
I'll bet the SF side doesn't feature Sakura, Cody or Guy.
No point in me buying if they're not all in it

Leo, Askua and Sakura would do it for me from that list.Rayne wrote:The Trailer sure is cool but I doubt I'll buy it, the fact that the roster will blow is off putting.

I want me some Poison though.
Maybe you have a pretty rad PC, maybe you really enjoy playing games on the PC. Mayhaps you would have liked to play Super Street Fighter 4: AE on the PC.
I'd reconsider it as Capcom clearly have no idea what the fuck they're doing with PC games.

If you are offline, you will only be able to use 15 of the cast of 39 characters (that’s 61.5% of the characters you will be cut off from, percentage fans), you lose the ability to save any progress in the challenge mode, you cannot save any settings, and you will be cut off from any of the (purely cosmetic) DLC that you have bought.
I’m not sure if ensuring that the pirated version has a better offline mode than the official version will help them realise their goal of 0% piracy rate either.
http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/05 ... ition-drm/’m also not too keen on them setting the digital RRP at £30 and the physical RRP at £20 (and some places selling it for as low as £17.86).

Looks like Sven from Unity wants to know a better solution to their DRM plan with GFWL on SSF4: AE.
As what I think of it, it's still idiotic cutting off more than a half of the characters to paying customers just to prevent piracy. Even though they said it's the same as DR2 with SSA, look what happened with it, it got pirated.
Seriously, or they'll find a better solution or they better act fast becore it becomes like Ubisoft's fail DRM.

I actually want it to have DRM, but a proper one, at least. Even if they enabled Steamworks, it'd still be pirated, for example. Heck, even one of the suggestions on the topic is having a period where you'll still be authenticated for a long period of time until it asks you to re-login.Reknoc wrote:Here's a better plan: Don't have any.
Because that type of DRM starts up the Piracy Capcom's afraid of.
