Yakuza 5
You want Yakuza 5 swag? Gotta earn it...by buying a certain PS3 special edition of said game at certain stores...and then being entered in a special raffle.
Grand prize? This sexy thing.

Not only that, SEGA are so nice, there's more things to win, like shirts, dice sets and other assorted things.

Hey. Hey. You lot. Yeah, you lot. I'm going to keep this game in your minds, ok? It's out in Japan now and there was a preview of Yakuza 5 in the latest issue of Edge magazine. Looks ace.
I'm going to keep you all aware of Yakuza Five's existence until it comes out over here. Want me to shut up about it? Talk to SEGA, yo.

Don't remind us about it, it just makes it hurt moreKaito-kun wrote:Hey. Hey. You lot. Yeah, you lot. I'm going to keep this game in your minds, ok? It's out in Japan now and there was a preview of Yakuza 5 in the latest issue of Edge magazine. Looks ace.

We must never forget what SEGA has done to the fans of the franchise. By focusing our anger and sorrow we are finally in the position where localisation is within our grasp and once again, the fandom will flourish! Localisation is the greatest tribute we can pay to those who developed the game for us! Rise! Rise! Take your sorrow and turn it into anger! Yakuza thirsts for the strength of it's fans!

I get the feeling that SEGA will probably localise Yakuza 5. Seeing as they brought the other four main games over to the West (Dead Souls, whilst considered canon by the writers, is probably better off being called a spin-off), it'd make sense to do the same.
I just wish we'd got Kenzan...Hell, I'd even settle for Yakuza 1&2 HD if I'm honest. Least I'd finally be able to finish the first one D:

If we do get it I reckon it might have minor edits: E.G: The Miku and Taiko no Tatsujin stuff being removed. But I swear to any and all gods that if Haruka's dance battles are removed I will be writing a very polite but stern letter to SEGA's localisation team.Gavvie wrote:I get the feeling that SEGA will probably localise Yakuza 5. Yakuza 1 & 2 HD would be fantastic, even just as a digital release.
