Yeah, seems a bit redundant really; the British voices suited it really well. Heck, the original "Borrowers" novels were English after all. I'm not sure it would work as well filled with Americans.
Of course that's just my opinion and I might be being a little bit biased as it's so incredibly refreshing to get a dub of a Japanese film that isn't an all American cast.

I heard they messed with the music in the american one. Dunno if it's the same for the UK version.

The only I heard was some character's names were switched fom the reading I saw (namely the main character Sho renamed Shawn). Other than that the music can't be changed due to that "no cuts" policy Studio Ghibli made (which I wholly approve of)
BTW who's the distributor for the film over there? We got Disney for the North American release (as per usual).

Optimum Releasing/Studio Canal as per usual with Ghibili Films.

Just finished seeing FMA:The Sacred Star of Milos. I was surprised, this movie was really good. Much better than the last crappy FMA movie.
