Yea I read that NPCs might be 1.9. May just check out the villages mod.

Resuming, NPC's, Experience Points and the rest of the Adventure Update will be available on 1.9.

1.8 has the EXP Orbs (worthless until 1.9), Sprint, etc etc.

Seems a bit pointless to introduce stuff in a version update if they're going to be useless until the next version.

New update is out today but it wont let me sign in, anyone else having this issue? I think the server is down

It was fine for me an hour or so ago.

Started doing something with the prerelease on a creative world:

It's going to be a Pyramid but it ended up being taller than I thought and it's taking forever to do the outside.

Yeah, but then a mate found and offered to pay for a dedicated host server so I transferred the world data to him so he could upload it.
