I guess you could say I somewhat like Sonic '06. It's honestly not as bad as people say it is. I remember it being given a 1 out of 5 in a review and after personally playing it, I believe it deserves perhaps a 2.
Sonic isn't as slow as people say and I haven't met a lot of glitches and bugs that people say(perhaps it's because those people actually LOOK for those bugs?). My only main problems are the loading times(REALLY annoying), Speed up sections(somewhat annoying) and the story(I don't mind that much). Other then that, the game play is rather fun at times and I enjoyed levels like Crisis City, flame core and many more. The music was great and the boss fights with silver aren't that bad either once I get what I have to do.
Honestly, I could see this game becoming a Sonic Adventure 3 if it wasn't rushed. This game really had the potential to become a great game. It is a shame indeed...

If only Sega would make a remake of the game, remove the bugs, shorten the loading times, give it a fresh new graphic. the game would be almost perfect (other then the lame story). I can guess though that they would need to remake the game completely and if they have to do that, they might as well change the story and make a new game.

I guess I just want a good Sonic Adventure 3 SO BADLY. I can't explain how much I want a SA3...

Battle Network, aside from 1 (understandable, was the first game of its type) and 4 (lulz) was actually a genuinely good series. People just hated on it cuz it obviously cashed in on the name, as it's no Megaman game by a stretch.

The only thing I didn't like was the whole "let's make it like Pokemon!" different versions bullshit they started with Battle Network 3. And that they didn't bring out 4.5 in anywhere but Japan. Alas. 1 was actually quite solid and not a bad game, just less good than the other installments sans 4. And 4 is bad because it basically forces you to do the same crap over and over again, and pretty much having to play through the entire "story" 3 or 4 times. If that was more thought out and had a similar progression as the other games, it would've been really fun, especially since a lot of the bosses are awesome (Laserman <3).

As for Starforce... I got all 3 versions of the first game (yes, I'm crazy like that <.<), but I really didn't get that much into it for some reason, although I loved BN (hence I did get all 3 versions).

You have no idea.... Whenever I think about it, it makes me sad to think that SEGA will possibly not bother to make another SA3 ever again.

If only in the near future, some random Sonic fan group would make a fan made remake of the game.
You never know... that Sonic fan group... could be lead by me... Some day...

Why should SEGA make a SA3 when the Colours style of game is much better?

Agrees, SEGA moved on. And 2006 was SA3...bastardized to the highest degree. Not looking forward to anything like that for a LONG while.

I always thought Shadow the Hedgehog or Sonic Heroes was "SA3...bastardized to the highest degree."

Na. Sonic 06 was the game which really had some Sonic Adventure put into it. It had the classic snowboarding stages. You could buy new moves(which would be the replacement of the power ups you would find in the Adventure games) and it had that classic adventure style hub world (Well kinda). It really could have been a good game if it wasn't so messed up.
And now, I actually enjoy this game to a more than medium point because it really reminds me to the adventure style games and I'm a huge fan of those times.

It could be in some points, I admit but some people, including me preferred the old adventure style in which Sonic's speed was a lot less and it was more platforming stuff. I liked the hub world and the levels were awesome fun to play.

Oh yeah...I'm sure next-to-nobody have heard of this title, called Destruction Derby: Arenas?

...Yeah...real embarrased of that one. I actually thought it was a top-tier racing game on the likes of mario Kart....

Also, both Adventure and the "Modern" formula have seperate game mechanics that both contains positives and negatives. Heores and ShtH, in my opinion, share quirks that could be a bridge of sorts between Adventure 2 and 2006.
