Yes the mutliplayer is bothersome. The singleplayer is fun and looks much better then the first game's singleplayer(Since I haven't really played the first game).
I would disagree about the Online community being dead though. There's always that one person who you can race with and it's never too easy. If anything, I've often found myself raging and quitting the multiplayer match for hitting the sides and losing my entire speed due to bad collision detection early in the match, becoming last and having a hard time catching up with people who DIDN'T clash to the sides in the beginning...
But it's certainly not dead. I'm enjoying the ranking system a lot.
Though one thing that I DID find rather pointless were the online licenses. To only be able to put three stickers on the front in fixed positions is a bit boring, not mentioning that it's rather... doll.
The licenses are pointless to begin with but it would have AT LEAST been a bit more fun and creative if you could place as many stickers as you want wherever you want to create a good looking license...

I played it online once. Was okay, was wrecking it with Ralph (haw) but then the game started freezing up and I somehow ended up in second. To be fair though something was fucking around with my connection anyway. Also I didn't have chance to change character in the Lobby. Really should have made the online stuff similar to Mario Kart 7.
There's...the SEGA Forums...Kaito-kun wrote:You're suggesting I visit other SEGA forums?!
...better yet, don't. You can hear us moan about it here.
Ironically enough, for those who are bored/interested in the graphics comparison between the Wii U and PC versions, you can catch a few screenshots. From the SEGA Forums!
