It's the little things in S&ASRT that make me smile, like these two things which poke a bit of fun at SEGA's history:

The "Takes AGES" badge is a picture of Tarō, the protagonist from the parody game Segagaga.
As the AGES boat (Dreamcast controller), when you crash the vehicle it makes the high-pitched beeping noise, made by Dreamcast VMUs made when you plugged them in after they were out of battery.
Brilliant!
There was an echidna from Vegas
Whose hairstyle was totally outrageous
When asked by the cops
Why the dreadlocks
He told them the idea was Sega's

I still like how AGES' transformation noise is both the 8-bit and 16-bit versions of the "SEE-GAA" chant.

Ugh. It's been AGES since I last played trasformed(Pun intended :D). I might try and get back to it on the weekend.

A lot of my S ranks on the races were by getting All-Star pick-ups near the finish.

Traffic attack is the REASON I probably gave up trying to finish Super Star Showdown.
