Main complaints was it borrows to heavily on Sonic 1&2 and not alot of content. Other than that its a good game :)

Finally played the demo and i enjoyed myself, im defiantly getting it soon.

Episodes II and so on will probably bring back co-op (off and online, IMO) and other characters. And judging from the looks of the world map, the final game will allow us to play all zones as other characters as well (Tails alone mode, anyone?).

I know Gonic. Gamers and fans alike can be bloody irritating when they want to be.

I've only just noticed that Eurogamer awarded Sonic 4 game of the week: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010- ... f-the-week

personally id prefer shadow or at a push silver. i know that may result in me getting shot by sonic fans but i think it would be a better match up than tails

Brought the game today and I was a little saddened by the length of the game. Fair enough there are 3 acts and then a boss stage, I just couldn't get my head around a sonic game without 6/7 zones.

Other than that I'm so happy with this game, the Time Attack and Emeralds make up for the length of the game. All the levels have interesting features that don't feel gimmicky at all! Great game.

on characters I really wouldn't mind if it was just sonic for all of these games, I mean lets be fair the 'co-op' in the old sonic games was just frustrating for poor player2.

Woot! i just got my time from 55 to 50.32 for Splash Hill Zone Act 1 (Sonic)!

Has anyone broken the 50sec mark? I'm thinking that one little change to my run could break it. Also does anyone know what the deal is with some people having time of 00.00? some people have got 00.10... is that a glitch or is it hax??

Yeah, they're glitched.

It's a shame that nobody can play a game with leaderboards properly. Still, it goes to show what kind of player they are if they can't do anything legitimately.

That kinda sucks, I wonder if the leaderboards will be changed at some point. The whole fun from speed running is beating your own time so its their loss really.
