If Metal Sonic is so good, why does he only appear in the bad Sonic games?

um....he wasn't in those games...

And the only bad games that hes been in that i can recall are the horrible party games (Like Riders, and Olympics) and the Rival series. The main games that hes been in are Sonic CD, heroes, Sonic 4 and Generation. Their decent games. Anything else that hes in are just cameos.

Metal Sonic was in Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles........Look again. In Death Egg that was metal Sonic *Early version* he was in Sonic 3 and Knuckles in that Sky Sanctuary zone.

Yea but Sonic CD, Heroes and 4 are all varying degrees of bad. Generations is cool though, but he's more of a cameo in that.

oooh your talking about the Mecha Sonic's. No their not Metal Sonic, never said it in the manuals when i was a kid so in my world they have nothing to do with Metal Sonic.

Sonic CD was a decent platformer (doesn't deserve to be called the best in the series though)

Heroes was alright. Better than the crap that came afterwards.

4 well he only appeared in the end but yeah 4 was a disappointment but he didn't make a true appearence in that game yet. Hopefully EII fixes the issues

Really now? Cause in japan their also called Mecha Sonic's and Metal Sonic also has the same name over there.
(Only one name changed and it was one of the mecha sonics which they changed to Silver Sonic here in the US)
So i still disagree, send me an article that says Metal Sonic was the Mechas and ill believe you. (anything from the sonic comics don't count)
