That's the jist I got from the back of the box anyway.
You classify all action-adventure/third person/first person shooter hybrid games as 'same random killing as every other popular title' right? All from the back of the box.

So your judging the game by the back of the box? What I gathered from looking at trailers and previews is that it's very story driven and that survival aspects are a focus of some sort.

Sometimes first impressions aren't the best impressions, but each to their own.

What's wrong with judging games by the back of the box?

First impressions sometimes work out quite well. For example, I fell in love with the Sengoku Basara franchise based on one trailer.

First impressions are great. I mean, how would you rather live:

Scrutinising 8 reviews from a range of reliable sources and soberly comparing these reviews to another game which garnered a respectable 80% plus score on metacritic, then discussing in detail the attribute levelling system on a message board with a guy called SLink2ThePast, before finally buying it from an online retailer for 3 pounds less then in Tescos.

Or, wandering into a shop and buying a game because it had monkeys on the box.
Tic Tac, sir?

I am saying this because of my experiences with first impressions, video game or not. They aren't always so good for me. I just have a negative view on them sometimes that's all.
