..For the record guys, (so I don't feel like an idiot >_>) a biscuit in America is basically like a crumpet with a different texture.
o_o What you call biscuit in the UK, we call cookie.
..Terms are confusing.

Hob Nob anyone?Kaito-kun wrote:In response to SEGAMark's plea for more variation in the "off Topic" section of the website let's have a discussion about the humble biscuit (Or "cookie" to you lot over the pond). What is your favourite type of biscuit? Where do you normally buy your biscuits? What's your preferred brand? Do you like to dunk them into tea? Discuss!

I've never been a fan of plain Hob Nobs, however the chocolate ones are amazing.

I like the black part of an Oreo, but that white stuff in the middle is a horrible little curd that puts me off them. If the black parts came on their own I'd be more tempted.
My favourite is the fruit shortcake which are probably so bad for you because of all the grease. The blackbirds seem quite partial too, so they also cover as bird feed.

Tic Tac, sir?

Oreo's are great, especially in a milkshake! Best milkshake I ever had was basically Oreo's and milk with whipped cream on top, decorated with mini-Oreo's. Absolutely divine.
In terms of traditional biscuits though, you can't go wrong with a few bourbons. Not bland, great for dipping.
Cookies are great, but not if you buy the 'value' versions in supermarkets. It's hardly a chocolate chip cookie when there are only two chips in the actual biscuit. These things destroy lives.
