It would be fun for a kid who has time on their hands...but for me it's pretty pointless with the puzzle quests.
It's garbage. They really messed it up with the combat, making it item based makes it pointless especially as there is no exp system in place, all it does is mean that it's just "risk" with no reward.

edit: i'd be down for some super street fightans 4. be warned as i play real top tier </jameschen>

Played some Dead Island last night. Not too much but certainly enough to encounter some pretty shit stuff:

One of the worst menus I've seen in a while. I can't just click on new game? I have to click on new game and then click on play in the opposite corner of the screen? what the fuck, this is some 90s PC shovelware menu shit.

Within minutes I'm faced with a door to bash open and the indicator has a 360 analog stick on it.

My character gets referred to as "he" despite picking the asian lady.

I go to the control settings to change the melee combat to the lauded feature of analog aiming. It's greyed out. Really? It's only available if you're using a controller? WHY? WHAT that is stupid as shit, fucking Arena had analog melee control and that is like 20 years old.

Game seems like it could be ok at least, will keep on with it. I mean for £10 it's okay, but really £10 feels like what it should have retailed at.

I've been jumping between ToeJam & Earl and Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD.

Actually disregard this one, I've just played Fable 3 and see that it can get much much worse than what Dead Island has.
