Soooo with 2011 winding down (and since I wasn't gonna make a new thread for this....) I figured I bring back this thread by asking what are your favorite moments from this year (and bad ones too :) ) and what do you want to look forward to in 2012, postively speaking?

Well...I don't really set New Years Resolutions for myself, as I don't believe I can meet them. I say I'd want to, but zippity do da...I don't. So yeah.

Can't wait for SEGAThon 2012, going to be another great 24 hours.

I never make resolutions, as I know I won't be able to keep them.

As for this year... well, I got my PS3, got heaps of games and I became a little obsessed with fighting games. Oh and I came to these forums and met some of the coolest people around! Yep.

Next year, I'm going to get back into drawing. I pretty much gave up on it entirely recently and I really need something creative to do. I also have to do draw something for a friend. He's been waiting quite awhile for me to do it...

Well, 2011 had some good points:

  • I met up with Page, Mercy13 and family again and this year stayed over with them. Got introduced to making and eating takoyaki
  • I got to help out as "volunteer" at Summer of Sonic - not quite staff able to help out where needed
  • Met relatives in Wales that I'd only ever spoken to over the phone, Skype or on facebook.
  • Had a holiday in Wales while we were at it ^
  • Met up with the folks who attend the Sonic London meets.
  • Moved into our own (well, rented) flat.
  • Got to host my own segment on Project 24

...and then it had it's bad points:
  • Moved out of our rented flat due to lack of funds
  • Couldn't keep up with SEGA AGES as other things got in the way
  • Got run over while walking back to work.
  • Didn't get Project 7 finished by November

Resoultions / Ideals for the year ahead:
  • Finish recording YouTube videos of each and every instrument, regardless of standard or ability XD
  • Launch Project 7
  • Get things done - try to find the will to avoid procrastination.
  • Finish my Sonic Unplugged album
I might add to this post the more and more I think of things.
Long time lurker and sometimes chief assistant. More the former.

Don't do resolutions but i'm hoping to move my family into a bigger home by the end of 2012 as we currently live in a shithole. I also should be receiving a tattoo kit anytime now and all the inks, practice skins etc to start practicing tattooing. I've just always fancied giving it a try so I thought why not and ordered it all. It's surprisingly cheap to get so i've not lost much if it turns out i'm arse-tastic.

For 2012, I'm planning these few things:

- Do good in Year 10
- Enjoy my holidays to the fullest
- Increase my Sonic Collection
- Get a job at Hungry Jacks, otherwise known as Burger King
- Get my first electric guitar
- Get an iPhone 4

And that's pretty much it.
With the money I get from the job, I hope to be able to be able to buy a lot more and increase my collection a lot faster. I just hope I wont stuff it up. I'll be 14 and 9 months old in March, that's the requirement for the job.

Yeah seems like it.
The payment isn't much(around $8 an hour) compared to the payment of other fast foods but it's a lot more then what I get for pocket money and it's the only shop I found that took the less time for me to reach the requirement.

I could use the money to buy all the games I still need to buy and actually buy some shit from Steam when I get extra left over cash.

Wow...never knew that...in the U.S. you'll be really lucky to even get a job like that at your age.

And boy did that feel different to what SSR shows are like! :D

Is this music-based, by any chance?
