The 3DS is pretty expensive too, but the point here is that judging from the tech-demos (Uncharted and stuff) they are going in the same direction as the PSP.

Hurr this is so powerful and we offer home console games, now with dual analog just like a real home console, except it's not.
Not for me, as I didn't use my PSP a lot compared to every other console I own.

There is one interesting game: a 3d platform game, i forgot the name; even Sony didn't talk much about it.

As long as NGP gets the same level of RPG support as the PSP I'll be happy.

Not impressed with LG, knowing them it's going to be expensive.

I'm goIng with a Samsung instead.

NGP won't be any more than £250 on launch, the 3DS is retailing at £220. You're buying a technologically inferior machine at pretty much the same price.

Changed the name of the thread now this has an official name, special as it might be. Im looking forward to this actually. It's priced fairly enough too (for the Americans at least).

EDIT Play have put there pre-orders up. £229 for the wireless, £279 for the 3G.

The Wii U reminded me. The psp could stream the PS3's XMB and you could play Psone games and a few PS3 games on your PSP. I wonder if the Vita can do the same but on a bigger scale? As in you can stream all your PS3 games onto it and play it on there. Would've been a great idea but im thinking it doesn't or they would of advertised the fact by now.

What was the last console with a decent name? The Saturn maybe. I think companies have given up trying to give consoles cool names.
Tic Tac, sir?

Yeah I do agree. Nothing can still beat the name "Genesis". the SEGA Genesis.

This isn't a good year for console names.
Still, I like the look of it regardless and will probably get one of these.
